#3 Ozone - In The Series: A Long COVID Patient Tries ...

ree

3. Ozone

The patient's experience: "Intravenous Ozone (IV) saved me at likely my worst with Long COVID. I felt I was dying, extremely pale, immobile, unable to do really anything, extraordinarily thin, & these issues were stagnant.

I had no joy or ability to have joy in my life.

Thankfully, IV Ozone (single pass Major Autohemotherapy, MAH) filtered through UV-C helped me immediately, during my first IV.

I was brought back to life. Before that I was white as a ghost, could barely walk, & just laid down the entire day (couldn't even watch TV).

IV Ozone may have saved my life (did 25-30+). Not sure that I was getting out of that state without an intervention such as IV Ozone. It brought me to a better baseline, increased O2, & improved my blood (thinned & lightened). It still helps me a lot today. I use when needed.

I also tried EBO2. A lot of foam & fluid came out of me (cytokines?) each IV (usually 300-400 CCs). Felt improvement after, but IV Ozone was much lower cost, worked very well, & was preferable.

Also did Ear Ozone, at home set up, & it helped with headaches & brain inflammation/fog. Helpful day of use & into next.

IV Ozone was more long lasting & systemic. Thankfully. I had access to it or more Long COVID could have turned out much worse. It is possibly the most important treatment I've done for Long COVID."

Our insights: Ozone therapies have been used by medical practitioners for decades. We've spoken to practitioners who have seen the benefits for chronic illness as well observed its safety.

The main use of ozone is antimicrobial, but it is also known to help with inflammation, immune modulation, & circulation.

Different Ozone Therapies:

- IV Ozone (Single Pass, 10 Pass)

- EBOO/EBO2 (15-20 Pass With Apheresis)

- Insufflation (Ear, +)

- Ozone Sauna

- Ozonated Water & Oils

- Deep Ozone Cleanings (At Dentist)

Studies with IV Ozone used for SARS-CoV-2/Long COVID:

  1. Ozone Therapy when integrated with SOC (Standard Of Care) can improve the clinical status & rapidly reduce the viral load compared to SOC alone, which facilitate early recovery & may reduce mortality. Study Link

  1. Resolved clinical symptoms, improved oxygenation, clearance of infiltrates on Chest X-ray, & improvement in biomarkers in a short period with non-progression of the disease showed that IV ozonised saline therapy was safe & effective for COVID-19. Study Link

  2. The combination of conventional treatment with O3-MAH more effectively improves symptoms, lung function, & 6MWD in patients with PASC than conventional treatment alone, without any adverse events, thereby providing new treatment options for PASC. Study Link

  3. The best findings of this work are high evidence (randomized clinical trials) for MAH in decreasing ferritin, D-dimer, IL-6, LDH, procalcitonic, normalization of alanine aminotransferase, improved respiratory function, faster acute respiratory distress syndrome recovery, improved oxygen saturation, & improves symptoms of COVID-19. OT (Ozone Therapy) can be beneficial in reducing the length of hospital stay & decreasing inflammatory markers. Study Link

Ozone Issues:

- Costly (IV = $200-$300 Typically, EBOO/EB02 Costs More)

- Ozone Can Cause Irritation When Inhaled

- Not Mainstream, But Available Most Major Metro Areas

- Direct Vein Injection Can Harm Veins (This Is Not IV Ozone)

- May Want To Check G6PD Before Doing
